Lanco Infratech, Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare, Dabur India and Syndicate Bank are among the other gainers.
Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals surged 7.15% to Rs 71.95. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.
Lanco Infratech climbed 6.35% to Rs 46.05. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare moved up 4.99% to Rs 1932.10. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. The scrip hit lifetime high of Rs 1946 in intra-day trade today, 8 February 2010.
Dabur India gained 4.27% to Rs 176. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The scrip hit lifetime high of Rs 176.95 in intra-day trade today, 8 February 2010.
Syndicate Bank rose 4.14% to Rs 84.30. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
