Reliance Energy net profit rises 35.33% in the year ended March 2008

Sales rise 10.89% to Rs 6313.17 crore

Net profit of Reliance Infrastructure rose 31.16% to Rs 311.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 237.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007. Sales rose 1.72% to Rs 1641.95 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 1614.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007.

For the full year, net profit rose 35.33% to Rs 1084.63 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 801.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2007. Sales rose 10.89% to Rs 6313.17 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 5692.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2007.
