The first half ended Sep.2000 was buoyant. Net sales were Rs 56.51 cr, up by 103% over the same period of the previous year. There was an extraordinary expense of Rs 2.75 cr due to an amount payable to Dunlaw Inc., US, as final settlement. The provision for tax absorbed of Rs 0.39 cr resulted in a net profit after extraordinary expense of Rs 25.46 cr, which is 116% higher than that of the previous first half.

The company’s main focus areas are COM/DCOM components, Java Beans and the VisualSoft Web project. The company’s revenues from services were predominantly from Internet technologies (78% in 1999-2000) and client/server technologies (18% in 1999-2000). Off-shore activities contributed about 44% of the service revenues, while the rest is from on-site activities.
