  • CARE Assigns CARE A- & CARE A2+ Rating To The Bank Facilities of Deep Industries

CARE Rating Agency has assigned CARE A- (single A Minus) rating to long term bank facilities for the amount of Rs 9.313 crore and CARE A- / CARE A2+ (Single A Minus / A Two Plus) rating to long-term / short term bank facilities for the amount of Rs 10 crore of Deep Industries Ltd.

The ratings of the bank facilities of Deep Industries Ltd (DIL) take into account its established position in the domestic gas compression services business, confirmed order book with monthly billing cycle, healthy profitability and low overall gearing.

The rating also takes cognisance of the fact that all exploration activities such as coal bed methane (CBM) block and marginal oil fields till now have been funded by infusion of equity from promoters.

The ratings are, however, constrained by DIL's modest scale of operations in a niche segment, large repayment obligations, continuous debt funded expansion in the equipment fleet and high competition in the rigs service business. Any significant change in the scale of operations, profitability, capital structure and liquidity position would be the key rating sensitivities. Further, any deviation in the funding pattern of future exploration activities would also be key rating sensitivity.
