Maruti Suzuki India sold a total of 178,083 units in May 2023 compared to 161,413 units in May 2022, recording a growth of 10.32%. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 146,596 units, sales to other OEM of 5,010 units and exports of 26,477 units.
The shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles. The Company took all possible
measures to minimise the impact.

Maruti Suzuki India sold a total of 160,529 units in April 2023 compared to 150,661 units in April 2022, recording a growth of 6.5%. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 139,519 units, sales to other OEM of 4,039 units and exports of 16,971 units.
The shortage of electronic components had some impact on the production of vehicles. The Company took all possible measures to minimise the impact.

Maruti Suzuki India has announced to recall 7,213 Baleno RS vehicles manufactured between 27 October 2016 and 01 November 2019.
It is suspected that there is a possible defect in Vacuum Pump (Parts), which assists the brake function. In a rare case, the affected vehicle may require increased effort in brake pedal application.
Affected vehicle owners will be receiving communication from Maruti Suzuki authorized dealer workshops for replacement of the defective parts, free of cost.

Commercial Vehicle – Super Carry. Built for those who value superior quality and performance, the Super Carry is now powered by Maruti Suzuki's 1.2L Advanced K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine.
Maruti Suzuki's Super Carry mini-truck is powered by a 4-cylinder engine that now delivers improved performance with Max Power of 59.4kW (80.7PS) @ 6000rpm and 104.4Nm of Max Torque @ 2900rpm in the
petrol model. The new engine is mated to an upgraded five-speed manual transmission that offers improved gradeability which enables customers to drive up steeper gradients than earlier.

Maruti Suzuki India achieved total production of 154,148 units in month of March 2023 compared to 163,392 units in March 2022. The shortage of electronic components had some impact on the production of vehicles in FY 2022-23. The Company took all possible measures to minimise the impact. As the supply situation of electronic components continues to be
unpredictable, it might have some impact on the production volume in FY 2023-24 as well.

Maruti Suzuki India sold a total of 170,071 units in March 2023 compared to 170,395 units in March 2022. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 136,787 units, sales to other OEM of 3,165 units and its highest ever monthly exports of 30,119 units.
For the full financial year 2022-23, the Company posted its highest ever total sales of 19,66,164 units. Total sales include domestic sales of 1,644,876 units with a growth of 20.5% over FY 2021-22, sales to other OEM of 61,955 units and highest ever exports of 259,333 units.
The shortage of electronic components had some impact on the production of vehicles in FY 2022-23. The Company took all possible measures to minimise the impact.

Maruti Suzuki India announced that the company continues to witness increased cost pressure driven by overall inflation and regulatory requirements. While the company makes maximum effort to reduce cost and partially offset the increase, it has become imperative to pass on some of the impact through a price increase.
The Company has planned this price increase in April, 2023 which shall vary across models.
