Bajaj Auto achieved total sales of 2,81,486 units in month of December 2022 compared to 3,62,470 units sold in December 2021, recording a decline of 22%.
Total sales include domestic sales of 1,48,555 units, higher by 2%. Exports declined 39% to 1,32,931 units.
In December 2022, the company recorded 23% decline in 2-wheeler sales and 21% decline in commercial vehicle sales.

Total sales comprised of domestic sales of 1,52,716 units (lower by 4%) and exports of 1,53,836 units (lower by 30%).
The company recorded 9% growth in sales of commercial vehicles at 44,432 units while 2-wheeler sales declined 23% at 2,62,120 units.

Bajaj Auto reported total auto sales of 3,95,238 units in month of October 2022 compared to 4,39,615 units in October 2021, recording a decline of 10%. Total sales include domestic sales of 2,42,917 units and exports of 1,52,321 units, recording a growth of 11% and (-)31% respectively.
The company's two-wheeler sales declined 13% to 3,41,903 units while commercial vehicle sales rose 10% to 53,335 units in month of October 2022 over October 2021.

The company has bought back 64,09,662 equity shares utilizing an aggregate amount of Rs. 2499.96 crore (excluding transaction costs) representing 99.99873% of the maximum buyback size with a balance of Rs. 3,17,708 till 10 October 2022.

The year to date (YTD) sales of the company are lower by 3% at 16,89,911 units compared to corresponding period of previous year.
