Silver stays strong at $34 amid China stimulus and haven demand

Silver held its ground near $34 per ounce on Tuesday, maintaining its strongest levels in almost 12 years. Safe-haven demand surged due to the ongoing uncertainties around the US election and rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Industrial demand also remained robust, as silver plays a key role in solar panel production, fueling expectations of stronger demand amid the global shift toward clean energy. China's recent economic stimulus measures, including rate cuts by the People’s Bank of China, further supported the market. MCX December futures climbed nearly Rs 1,000, trading at Rs 98,319 per kg.
