PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd., one of the leading private player in the life insurance sector, has appointed Sameer Bansal as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. His appointment will comes in to effective from July 1, 2024, subject to necessary regulatory approvals.
Sameer Bansal brings over 25 years of rich experience in financial services, with a proven track record in leading various distribution channels including Bancassurance, Agency, Digital, Employee Benefits, and Direct marketing. His extensive experience and successful leadership in these areas have prepared him well for his new role at the helm of PNB MetLife, the Insurer said.
Bansal, who has been with PNB MetLife since 2007, currently serves as the Chief Distribution Officer and is an integral member of the leadership team. He succeeds Ashish Srivastava, who has been appointed Managing Director for MetLife Inc.’s Global Shared Services team in India.
