The US crude oil inventories rose 2.6 million barrels in the week to January 15th, according to data from industry group the American Petroleum Institute, media reports noted yesterday. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) weekly inventory data is due today. Asian equities are lower and oil could correct further as the prices have seen consistent selling pressure after hitting around one year high.
