    Earnings announcements from India Inc will continue to remain in focus in the truncated trading week ahead. Stock markets will remain closed on Tuesday, 9 August 2022 on accou... Earnings announcements from India Inc will continue to remain in focus in the truncated trading week ahead. Stock markets will remain closed on Tuesday, 9 August 2022 on account of Muharram. Trend in global stock markets, the movement of rupee against the dollar and crude oil prices will dictate trend on the bourses in the near term. Investment by foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) and domestic institutional investors (DIIs) will be monitored. Progress of the monsoon will also be closely watched. Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and State Bank of India will announce their quarterly results on 6 August 2022. Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid Corporation of India, will announce their quarterly results on 8 August 2022. Coal India, Eicher Motors, Hindalco Industries will unveil their quarterly results on 10 August 2022. Aurobindo Pharma, Bata India will announce their quarterly results on 11 August 2022. Grasim Industries, Hero MotoCorp, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Power Finance Corporation, Zee Entertainment Enterprises will announce their quarterly results on 12 August 2022.

    On the macro front, the Industrial Production and Manufacturing Production data for June will be released on 12 August 2022. India's inflation rate for July will be unveiled on 12 August 2022.

    Overseas, China will announce inflation rate for July on 10 August 2022.

    US will announce inflation rate for July on 10 August 2022.
