NSE SME Kontor Space makes good debut

Shares of Kontor Space were quoting at Rs 115.90 on the NSE, a premium of 24.62% compared with the issue price of Rs 93.


The scrip was listed at Rs 122, up 31.18% over the initial public offer (IPO) price. However, the stock reversed and was currently frozen at an lower limit of 5% from its listing price.

The counter hit a high of Rs 122 and a low of Rs 115.90. About 4.44 lakh shares of the company changed hands at the counter.

Kontor Space's IPO was subscribed 65.20 times. The issue opened for bidding on 27 September 2023 and it closed on 3 October 2023. The price of the IPO was fixed at Rs 93 per share.

The IPO comprised fresh issue of 16,80,000 shares. The company intends to utilize the net proceeds towards payment of Rental Deposits for new co-working centres, To carry out the Capital Expenditure for fit outs of new co-working centres and general corporate purpose.

Kontor Space provides "space-as-a-service" by renting and managing commercial spaces. The company had 12 permanent employees on pay roll.

The company recorded revenue from operations of Rs 9.17 crore and net profit of Rs 1.87 crore for the period as on 31 March 2023.
