Maintains volume growth guidance for FY26

Container Corporation of India hosted a conference call on Aug 6, 2025. In the conference call the company was represented by Sanjay Swarup, CMD.

Key takeaways of the call

Throughput in Q1FY26 was up 11%YoY to 1290101 TEUs [EXIM up to 973875 TEUs & Domestic up 9% to 316226 TEUs].

Originating volume for Q1FY26 was 652723 TEUs of which EXIM was 531099 TEUs and Domestic was 121624 TEUs.

Volume growth guidance unchanged for fy26 with EXIM growth rate stay at 10% and domestic growth rate at 20%.

Expect LLF for current fiscal to be in the range of Rs 370-400 crore.

Lead distance in Q1FY26 for EXIM stood at 688 km and for domestic it was about 1356 km. Substantial reduction in empty running 13.7% decline in q1fy26. Handsome increase in double-stake rails to 1353 rakes compared to 1050 rakes a year ago.
