Power Grid Corporation of India hosted an analyst meet on Aug 1, 2025. In the meet the company was represented by R. K. Tyagi, Chairman & Managing Director; G. Ravisankar, Director (Finance) & CFO Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel); Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations); Vamsi Ramamohan Burra, Director (Projects).

Key takeaways of the call

Works in Hand as on July 26, 2025 stood at Rs 1,48,644 crore comprising of TBCB of Rs 99,906 crore; NEW RTM of 37049 crore; ongoing RTM of Rs 9062 crore and others of Rs 2627 crore.

Capex and commissioning in Q1FY26 stood at Rs 6981 crore (up from Rs 4615 crore in Q1FY25) and Rs 2806 crore (up from Rs 2429 crore in Q1FY25) respectively.  Capitalization in Q1FY26 was Rs 1800 crore.

The company has commissioned 652 ckm Transmission Line and 19,370 MVA Transformation Capacity in Q1FY26. 

Capex plan for FY26 is Rs 28000 ...
