Sahyadri Industries hosted conference call on November 11, 2024. In the conference call the company was represented by Mr Tuljaram R Maheshwari – CEO, CFO and Whole time Director.

Key takeaways of the call

The company navigated a challenging environment marked by softer demand and prolonged monsoon condition which impacted the company.

The ongoing demand continues to be tepid on account of lower consumer spending especially in the rural areas of the country.

The extended monsoon affected the company’s volumes resulting in decline in revenues by 6.5% YoY to Rs 324.6 crores in H1FY2025.

EBITDA declined by 16.3% to Rs 35.2 crore in H1FY2025.Decline in EBITDA is on account of rise in exports ocean freight expenditure due to shortage of containers. Lower capacity utilization also resulted in decline in EBITDA. Capacity utilization stood at 73% for H1FY2025 as against 77% in H1FY2024.
