Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Bharat Heavy Electricals for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 8.88% to Rs 8993.37 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 8.81% to 9.25%, leading to 14.26% rise in operating profit to Rs 831.68 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 67.75% to 69.66%. Employee cost decreased from 17.48% to 15.36%. Other expenses rose from 6.21% to 6.68%.
Other income fell 4.67% to Rs 149.27 crore. PBIDT rose 10.91% to Rs 980.95 crore. Provision for interest rose 4.20% to Rs 201.43 crore. PBDT rose 12.79% to Rs 779.52 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 24.30% to Rs 85.02 crore. Profit before tax grew 11.53% to Rs 694.50 crore. Share of profit/loss was 27.01% lower at Rs 9.92 crore.
