Cello World

Margin pressure


'Net sales (including other operating income) of Cello World has increased 14.90% to Rs 588.82 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 26.01% to 22.96%, leading to 1.46% rise in operating profit to Rs 135.22 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 33.22% to 35.43%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 14.32% to 12.33%.   Employee cost increased from 9.27% to 9.44%.   Other expenses rose from 17.43% to 19.68%.  

Other income rose 96.08% to Rs 13 crore.  PBIDT rose 5.95% to Rs 148.22 crore.  Provision for interest fell 57.50% to Rs 0.34 crore.
