Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals

Net up 22% on higher sales and higher OPM


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 5.08% to Rs 2060.64 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 10.38% to 12.83%, leading to 29.86% rise in operating profit to Rs 264.40 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 21.88% to 18.11%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 45.83% to 47.22%.   Employee cost increased from 7.78% to 8.32%.   Other expenses fell from 14.01% to 13.23%.   

Other income fell 0.69% to Rs 15.93 crore.  PBIDT rose 27.63% to Rs 280.33 crore.  Provision for interest fell 36.05% to Rs 9.95 crore.   PBDT rose 32.49% to Rs 270.38 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 12.96% to Rs 39.58 crore.   Profit before tax grew 36.54% to Rs 230.80 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both t...
