Deep Industries

Net up 19% as sales up 22%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Deep Industries for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has increased 21.85% to Rs 123.46 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 42.42% to 40.98%, leading to 17.73% rise in operating profit to Rs 50.60 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 39.24% to 39.83%.   Employee cost increased from 10.58% to 12.42%.   Other expenses fell from 7.74% to 6.77%.   

Other income rose 93.40% to Rs 10.85 crore.  PBIDT rose 26.47% to Rs 61.45 crore.  Provision for interest rose 54.60% to Rs 2.52 crore.  

PBDT rose 25.49% to Rs 58.93 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 8.75% to Rs 9.82 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 29.48% to Rs 49.11 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 10.36 crore, compared to R...
