Epack Durable

Net loss widens despite 112% jump in sales


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Epack Durable has increased 111.73% to Rs 377.1 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 4.33% to 2.55%, leading to 24.61% rise in operating profit to Rs 9.62 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 82.27% to 84.24%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 2.88% to 0.75%.   Employee cost decreased from 5.60% to 4.57%.   Other expenses rose from 5.11% to 7.83%.   

Other income rose 549.32% to Rs 4.74 crore.  PBIDT rose 69.94% to Rs 14.36 crore.  Provision for interest rose 69.96% to Rs 13.75 crore.   PBDT rose 69.44% to Rs 0.61 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 39.42% to Rs 11.6 crore.   Profit before tax down 38.07% to Rs -10.99 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 133.33% lower at Rs -0.7 crore.  Provision for tax was credit of R...
