PBT before EO up 18.94%


'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended June 2025 compared with Quarter ended June 2024.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Escorts Kubota has declined 2.86% to Rs 2500.05 crore.  Sales of Agri Machinery Products segment has gone up 29.79% to Rs 2,197.89 crore (accounting for 87.94% of total sales).  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 5.86% to Rs 291.78 crore.  PBIT of Agri Machinery Products segment rose 23.83% to Rs 274.31 crore (accounting for 94.01% of total PBIT).  

PBIT margin of Agri Machinery Products segment fell from 13.08% to 12.48%.  Overall PBIT margin fell from 13.43% to 11.67%.  

Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.24% to 12.86%, leading to 2% rise in operating profit to Rs 321.40 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 45.50% to 48.02%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 24.44% to 21.92%.   Employee cost increased...
