'Net sales (including other operating income) of Hindustan Petroleum
Corporation has declined 2.69% to Rs 110825.33 crore. Sales of Downstream Petroleum segment has
gone down 0.61% to Rs 120,108.26 crore (accounting for 99.91% of total
sales). Sales of Others segment fell
22.89% to Rs 104.98 crore (accounting for 0.09% of total sales). Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 36.99
crore to Rs 20.25 crore.
Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped
602.14% to Rs 6,071.72 crore.

Downstream Petroleum segment rose 576.77% to Rs 6,144.10 crore (accounting for
101.19% of total PBIT). PBIT of Others
segment fell 67.90% to Rs -72.38 crore (accounting for -1.19% of total PBIT).
