Hitech Corporation

Net in red, OP down 35% with OPM crash 510 bps


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Hitech Corporation for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has declined 0.96% to Rs 137.30 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 14.76% to 9.69%, leading to 34.95% decline in operating profit to Rs 13.31 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 59.08% to 61.32%.   Employee cost increased from 7.00% to 7.98%.   Other expenses rose from 19.31% to 20.96%.   

Other income up 140% to Rs 1.2 crore.  PBIDT fell 30.77% to Rs 14.51 crore.  Provision for interest up 14.17% to Rs 4.11 crore.   PBDT fell 40.09% to Rs 10.4 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 14.30% to Rs 9.19 crore.   Profit before tax down 87.02% to Rs 1.21 crore.  EO Exp was Rs 1.55 crore against nil. PBT after EO was a loss of Rs 0.34 crore against a profit of Rs 9.32 crore.  Provision for tax was expense...
