Net sales (including other operating income) of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism
Corporation has increased 9.85% to Rs 1268.53 crore. Sales of
Catering segment has gone down 0.27% to Rs 529.40 crore (accounting for 41.61%
of total sales). Sales of Rail neer segment has gone up 15.71% to Rs
96.00 crore (accounting for 7.55% of total sales). Sales of Internet
Ticketing segment rose 8.78% to Rs 372.47 crore (accounting for 29.28% of total
sales). Sales of Tourism segment has gone up 36.07% to Rs 274.42
crore (accounting for 21.57% of total sales). Inter-segment sales
rose Rs 3.09 crore to Rs 3.75 crore.
Profit before interest,
tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 23.32% to Rs 432.82
crore. PBIT of Catering segment rose 39.37% to Rs 64.60 crore
