JSW Energy

Net up 16% on higher sales and higher other income


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of JSW Energy for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 15.73% to Rs 3189.39 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 42.40% to 37.77%, leading to 3.08% rise in operating profit to Rs 1,204.48 crore.  Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 0.05% to 4.40%.   Employee cost increased from 3.39% to 4.11%.   Other expenses fell from 54.14% to 53.72%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 43.45% to 36.47%.  Other income rose 149.43% to Rs 308 crore.  PBIDT rose 17.06% to Rs 1512.48 crore.  Provision for interest rose 26.64% to Rs 675.28 crore.  Loan funds rose to Rs 50,185.18 crore as of 31 March 2025 from Rs 31,572.97 crore as of 31 March 2024.  Inventories rose to Rs 905.33 crore as of 31 March 2025 from Rs 830.67 crore as of 31 March 2024.  Sundry debtors were higher at Rs 1,319.82 crore as of 31 March 2025 compared to...
