Net sales (including other operating income) of Motherson Sumi Wiring India has increased 12.40% to Rs 2,509.52 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 13.05% to 10.81%, leading to 6.90% decline in operating profit to Rs 271.22 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 64.58% to 64.93%. Employee cost increased from 15.66% to 16.88%. Other expenses rose from 6.51% to 7.13%.
Other income fell 62.82% to Rs 1.61 crore. PBIDT fell 7.72% to Rs 272.83 crore. Provision for interest fell 4.97% to Rs 5.54 crore.
