Lower operating profit


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Nitta Gelatin India has increased 4.93% to Rs 134.61 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 30.22% to 20.85%, leading to 27.60% decline in operating profit to Rs 28.07 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 41.01% to 45.25%.   Employee cost decreased from 9.49% to 8.89%.   Other expenses rose from 21.93% to 24.24%.  

Other income fell 27.09% to Rs 2.18 crore.  PBIDT fell 27.56% to Rs 30.25 crore.  Provision for interest fell 42.86% to Rs 0.2 crore. 

PBDT fell 27.43% to Rs 30.05 crore.  Provision for depreciation fell 3.83% to Rs 3.52 crore.
