'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of NMDC has increased 10.90% to Rs 6489.31 crore.  Sales of Iron Ore segment has gone up 10.92% to Rs 6,427.24 crore (accounting for 99.04% of total sales).  Sales of Other Minerals & Services segment has gone up 9.41% to Rs 62.07 crore (accounting for 0.96% of total sales). 

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 29.67% to Rs 2,369.60 crore.  PBIT of Iron Ore segment fell 27.75% to Rs 2,469.51 crore (accounting for 104.22% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Other Minerals & Services segment fell 105.11% to Rs -99.91 crore (accounting for -4.22% of total PBIT). 

PBIT margin of Iron Ore segment fell from 58.99% to 38.42%.  PBIT margin of Other Minerals & Services segment fell from negative...
