Petronet LNG

Sales down 11%, OP up 37%


'Net sales (including other operating income) of Petronet LNG has declined 10.71% to Rs 12315.75 crore.  During the quarter ended 31st March, 2025, Dahej terminal processed 189 TBTU (Trillion british thermal units) of LNG as against 219 TBTU during the corresponding quarter ended 31st March, 2024 and 213 TBTU during the previous quarter ended 31st December, 2024. The overall LNG volume processed by the company in the current quarter was 205 TBTU, as against 234 TBTU and 228 TBTU in the corresponding and previous quarters respectively.

During the current quarter, the Offtakers have made payment of outstanding Use or Pay dues of Rs 360.94 crore pertaining to CY 2021.

Operating profit margin has jumped from 8% to 12.28%, leading to 37.04% rise in operating profit to Rs 1,512.34 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 90.18% to 87.95%.   Employee c...
