Net sales (including other operating income) of Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care has declined 1.05% to Rs 991.63 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 25.68% to 21.14%, leading to 18.52% decline in operating profit to Rs 209.65 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 16.25% to 17.86%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 17.92% to 21.38%. Employee cost decreased from 5.95% to 5.03%. Other expenses rose from 34.38% to 34.40%. Selling and administration expenses fell from 13.29% to 12.33%.
Other income up 40.77% to Rs 19.13 crore. PBIDT fell 15.55% to Rs 228.78 crore. Provision for interest fell 74.26% to Rs 5.77 crore. Loan funds remained nil.
