Star Cement

Revenue up 15.2% YoY to Rs 1052.1 crore in Q4FY2025


'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended March 2025 compared with Quarter ended March 2024.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Star Cement has increased 15.17% to Rs 1052.09 crore.  

Operating profit margin has jumped from 19.67% to 24.97%, leading to 46.18% rise in operating profit to Rs 262.72 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 18.45% to 11.12%.   Employee cost decreased from 6.34% to 5.63%.   Other expenses rose from 54.40% to 58.63%.   Power and Oil fuel cost rose from 13.57% to 17.14%.   Other direct service cost rose from 27.86% to 28.77%.   

Other income fell 35.76% to Rs 5.03 crore.  PBIDT rose 42.76% to Rs 267.75 crore.  Provision for interest rose 112.29% to Rs 8.81 crore.  Loan funds rose to Rs 402.76 crore as of 31 March 2025 from Rs 146....
