Net sales (including other operating income) of Tata Consumer Products has increased 9.81% to Rs 4778.91 crore. Sales of Branded Business segment has gone up 10.60% to Rs 4,270.90 crore (accounting for 88.85% of total sales). Sales of Non Branded Business segment has gone up 7.03% to Rs 535.76 crore (accounting for 11.15% of total sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 22.48 crore to Rs 38.05 crore.
Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 14.73% to Rs 509.36 crore. PBIT of Branded Business segment fell 11.26% to Rs 444.84 crore (accounting for 87.33% of total PBIT). PBIT of Non Branded Business segment fell 32.84% to Rs 64.52 crore (accounting for 12.67% of total PBIT).
