Voltamp Transformers

Net nearly stays flat despite lower sales


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Voltamp Transformers for the quarter ended Jun 2025   has declined 1.07% to Rs 423.58 crore.  June quarter invoicing got impacted (Rs.47 crores: 404 MVA) with:  Customers’ project sites not accessible due to water logging with heavy rainfall in June 2025, and  Solar sector customers encountering land/road and regulatory issues. Operating profit margin has declined from 17.70% to 17.15%, leading to 4.16% decline in operating profit to Rs 72.64 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 72.23% to 74.66%.   Employee cost increased from 3.30% to 3.37%.   Other expenses fell from 6.23% to 6.20%.   

Other income up 23.97% to Rs 35.69 crore.  PBIDT rose 3.59% to Rs 108.33 crore.  Provision for interest fell 11.43% to Rs 0.31 crore.
