Net down 15% on weak operating show


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Wendt India for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has declined 4.29% to Rs 49.06 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 24.19% to 21.48%, leading to 15% decline in operating profit to Rs 10.54 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 26.14% to 23.98%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 6.63% to 10.58%.   Employee cost increased from 18.06% to 20.25%.   Other expenses fell from 25.14% to 23.50%.   Other income rose 7.73% to Rs 1.95 crore.  PBIDT fell 12.10% to Rs 12.49 crore.  Provision for interest remained nil.  PBDT fell 12.10% to Rs 12.49 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 6.31% to Rs 2.19 crore.  Profit before tax down 15.23% to Rs 10.30 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 2.62 ...
