Indian Railway Finance Corporation

Net profit up 11% in Q3FY26


'The income from operation of Indian Railway Finance Corporation declined 1.57% to Rs 6657.36 crore in Q3FY2026. Overall OPM eased to 99.39% in Q3FY2026 from 99.43% in Q3FY2025, leading to 1.60% fall in operating profit to Rs 6,616.92 crore. Other expenditure as a percentage of total income moved up to 0.53% from 0.52% in Q3FY2026. The staff cost as a percentage of total income increased to 0.08% from 0.05% in Q3FY2026.

Other income increased 1,854.73% to Rs 57.86 crore. Interest cost declined 5.56% to Rs 4812.02 crore. Depreciation moved up 6.72% to Rs 1.43 crore. Provisions increased 12,756.50% to Rs 59.14 crore. PBT moved up 10.52% to Rs 1,802.19 crore. Profit after tax rose 10.52% to Rs 1,802.19 crore.
