'Net sales (including other operating income) of Central
Depository Services (India) has increased 9.43% to Rs 304.36 crore. Operating
profit margin has declined from 57.76% to 52.90%, leading to 0.23% rise in
operating profit to Rs 161.02 crore. Employee cost increased from 11.61% to
13.24%. Other expenses rose from 30.63%
to 33.85%. Other direct service cost
rose from 10.64% to 13.92%.
Other income rose 46.40% to Rs 29.25 crore. PBIDT rose
5.34% to Rs 190.27 crore. Provision for interest rose 300% to Rs 0.04 crore. PBDT
rose 5.32% to Rs 190.23 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 31.69% to Rs
17.08 crore.
Profit before tax grew 3.28% to Rs 173.15 crore. Provision
for tax was expense of Rs 38.98 crore, compared to Rs 38.57 crore. Effective
tax rate was 22.67% compared to 22.91%.
