Seamless Pipe demand rising due to varying preferences in multiple sectors

Seamless, ERW, coated pipes, premium connections, and fittings fuel demand in agriculture, auto, chemicals, oil & gas, power and infrastructure amid growth in energy and industry.

Seamless pipes, ERW pipes and others (Coated & Premium Connections, Pipe Fittings) serve industries such as agriculture, automotive, bearings, chemicals, drinking water, engineering, fertilizers, housing, irrigation, mechanical, oil and gas, petrochemical and power.

Maharashtra Seamless holds a market share of 55% in seamless pipes segment with manufacturing facilities at Nagothane & Mangaon in Maharashtra and Narketpally in Telangana; 8% in the API certified, high frequency ERW pipes segment with manufacturing facility at Nagothane in Maharashtra. On installation of finishing facilities at Telangana, existing capacity of 100,000 mt/annum will be activated.

Outlook

The seamless pipe segment looks robust, with steady demand from oil & gas and infrastructure pushing utilization higher; ERW capacity ramps up post-finishing facilities, targeting 100,000 mt/annum activation amid ...
