Shanthi Gears

Net down 38% on lower sales and lower OPM


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Shanthi Gears for the quarter ended Dec 2025 has declined 25.83% to Rs 116.82 crore.   The drop was mainly on account of lower order booking in the previous quarters. Operating profit margin has declined from 22.19% to 19.68%, leading to 34.22% decline in operating profit to Rs 22.99 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 42.37% to 47.84%.   Employee cost increased from 14.64% to 16.43%.   Other expenses fell from 18.73% to 17.18%.   

Other income up 4.63% to Rs 4.07 crore.  PBIDT fell 30.33% to Rs 27.06 crore.  Provision for interest remained nil.
