AUM jumps 40%, margins and asset quality improves


'Capri Global Capital has posted strong 143% surge in the net profit to Rs 236.0 crore in the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2FY2026). The income from operation increased 47.44% to Rs 1085.53 crore in Q2FY2026. Overall OPM has increased to 71.37% in Q2FY2026 from 65.27% in Q2FY2025, leading to 61.21% rise in operating profit to Rs 774.71 crore. Other expenditure as a percentage of total income moved down to 7.61% from 11.38% in Q2FY2026. The staff cost as a percentage of total income declined to 21.03% from 23.35% in Q2FY2026.

Other income increased 113.56% to Rs 2.52 crore. Interest cost increased 30.50% to Rs 405.89 crore. Depreciation moved up 4.36% to Rs 26.08 crore. Provisions increased 78.36% to Rs 31.16 crore. PBT moved up 144.87% to Rs 314.10 crore.

The effective tax rate increased to 24.86% in Q2FY2026 compared to 24.39% in Q2FY2025. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 78.1 crore, compared to Rs 31.29 crore. Profit after tax rose 143.35% to Rs 236.00 ...
