Shriram Finance

Continues strong performance


'Shriram Finance has posted 22% decline in the net profit to Rs 2529.68 crore on consolidated basis in the quarter ended December 2025 (Q3FY2026). The decline in the net profit is due to one of gains recorded in Q3 of last year. The company has booked Rs 1553.66 crore as gains from sale of entire stake in subsidiary Shriram Housing Finance Company in Q3FY26. However, the PBT before this one-off item has increased at an accelerated pace of 22% to Rs 3363.52 crore in Q3FY2026.

The company has maintained stable asset quality in Q2FY2026. The NIM improved to 8.58% in Q3FY2026. The NIM had stood at 8.19% in the previous quarter and 8.48% in the corresponding quarter last year. The net interest income (NII) of the company increased at accelerated pace of 16% yoy to Rs 6764.1 crore in Q3FY2026.
