The Budget Session of Parliament is scheduled to begin on 28 January 2026 with the President's Address. Union Budget 2026-27 is scheduled to be presented on 1 February 2026 in the Lok Sabha.
This is the first time since 2000 that the Union Budget will be presented on a Sunday.
The Budget Session2026 will continue till April 2 with a month-long recess. 270th Session of the Rajya Sabha will commence on 28 January 2026.
