The American Petroleum Institute (API) estimated that crude oil inventories in the United States rose this week, growing by an additional 1.5 million barrels in the week ending August 8. Gasoline inventories reportedly show a draw of 1.8M barrels for the week, distillate inventories show a build of 300K barrels, and Cushing inventories show a draw of 600K barrels for the week.
