Commodities Buzz: Global primary aluminium production up 1.31% on year in Jan-Aug 2025

According to a recent update from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), global primary Aluminium production stood at 6277 thousand metric tonnes in August 2025, marking a very marginal rise compared to previous month. Data showed that in first seven months of 2025, the total output stood at 49037 thousand metric tonnes, up 1.31% compared to same period last year.
