Commodities Buzz: India's Gold import value spikes 205% on year in March, FY25 import value gains 30%

India's Gold imports came in at Rs 38784 crore in value terms in March 2025, zooming around 205% compared to March 2024. Silver imports fell by around 85% on year to Rs 1033 crore in the month. Gold imports value in fiscal year 2025 or FY25 rose by 30% on year while Silver imports during the same period contracted around 9.40%. On a monthly basis, Gold imports gained nearly 90% while Silver imports tumbled by around 72.50%.
