Commodities Buzz: India's Gold imports value tumbles 60% on year in Feb-25, Silver imports slide 74%

India's Gold imports came in at Rs 20354 crore in value terms in February 2025, down 60% compared to February 2024. Silver imports also fell by around 74% on year to Rs 3749 crore in the month. Gold imports value in first nine months of current fiscal rose by 23.70% on year while Silver imports during the same period edged up by around 4%. On a monthly basis, Gold imports fell by 12% while Silver imports also tumbled by around 51%.
