Commodities Buzz: US natural gas storage down 8.60% on year

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported a 109 Bcf net injection of natural gas into storage facilities for the week ended June 6. This marked the seventh consecutive 100-plus Bcf increase. At 2,707 levels, stocks are down 256 Bcf or 8.60% than last year and 139 Bcf or 5.41% above the five-year average for this time of the year.
