Economic Buzz: Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence hits its highest level since June 2024

Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence index moved up from -12.7 to -2.9, hitting its highest level since June 2024. Current Situation Index edged up modestly from -25.5 to -21.8. Expectations Index spiked from 1.0 to 18.0, marking its third consecutive increase and the highest reading since July 2021. This month’s surge in expectations represents the largest monthly increase since 2012. According to Sentix, much of this optimism is due to expectations for increased investment in the EU’s armaments sector and Germany’s infrastructure.
