MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals ease, Copper nears Rs 899 mark before sliding

Base metals turned lower on the MCX in morning trades today. MCX benchmark Copper futures are down 0.15% to trade at Rs 896.65 per kg. The counter tested a low above Rs 899 per kg mark before easing. MCX Aluminum futures are down 0.33% to trade at Rs 254.15 per kg. MCX Zinc futures fell 0.20% to trade at Rs 268.30 per kg. MCX Lead futures eased 0.08% to trade at Rs 178.95 per kg.
