MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals fall across the board, Copper gives up Rs 1300 per kg

Base metals fell today, recording across the board losses. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1285.60 per kg, down 1.70% on the day. The counter has extended losses after sliding under Rs 1300 per kg. MCX Aluminum futures corrected 1% to trade at Rs 306.95 per kg. MCX Zinc futures dipped 0.95% to trade at Rs 306.70 per kg. MCX Lead futures tanked 2.10% on the day to trade at Rs 189 per kg. Nickel tumbled 4.17% to trade at Rs 1755 per kg.
