MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals fall across the board, Nickel gives up more than one percent

Base metals slipped today. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1274.10 per kg, down 0.45% on the day. The counter slipped near Rs 1263 per kg mark before witnessing some support. MCX Aluminum futures fell 0.33% to trade at Rs 314 per kg. MCX Zinc futures shed 0.05% to trade at Rs 311.75 per kg. MCX Lead futures pared 0.03% on the day to trade at Rs 190.90 per kg. Nickel futures lost 1.28% to trade at Rs 1595 per kg.
