MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals mostly stay supported, Aluminium spikes more than 1%

Base metals mostly edged up today, recovering after latest losses. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1279 per kg, up 0.69% on the day. The counter hit highs around Rs 1290 per kg and eased thereafter. MCX Aluminum futures added 1.26% to trade at Rs 312.75 per kg. MCX Zinc futures added 0.57% to trade at Rs 309.10 per kg. MCX Lead futures rose 0.26% on the day to trade at Rs 191.45 per kg. However, Nickel lost 1.50% to trade at Rs 1701 per kg.
